Justin Time

I don't know if it's because Justin is at the age I just take tons of pictures of him but it seems that lately most of my posts are about Justin.  Today is no exception.  There are just tons of things that he has been doing.  First we (Justin and me) have been taking some mommy and me classes at Mirabelli.  He calls it his "Ta-Da" class and he totally loves it.  He gets to run around, play with friends, and jump on a big trampoline.  It is so much fun taking him to the classes and watching him grow and have fun.

Next we took Justin to the Yo Gabba Gabba concert at the Orleans Arena.  It was so much fun watching him enjoy the concert like he did.  As soon as the concert started he did not move. Victoria would pick him up and dance and sing with him. One of our friend's brother-in-law was one of the creators of the show and she was able to get us into the VIP party after the concert.  It was pretty cool. Victoria got to meet Biz Markie (a rapper from the 80's) and get his autograph.  Justin freaked out when we took our picture with the characters. He enjoyed them from a distance but as soon we got close up he shook and cried like crazy. When I would move away just enough he would start to wave to them and throw them kisses.  We bought him the Brobee backpack which he loves and wore it all night.  He even had to sleep with it.

Trunk or Treat

We had a great time at our ward trunk or treat.  Justin was the cutest Brobee ever!!! He loves watching Yo Gabba Gabba, it's his favorite show and so it was the perfect costume for him.  Victoria made a great nerd.  She played the perfect role.  Halloween was lots of fun!!

Pumpkin Patch

On our way back from San Diego we stopped at Tom's Farms and had lunch.  They had a little pumpkin patch so Victoria and I took Justin in to look around.  I really wanted to be able to take some cute pictures of Justin with the pumpkins.  No such luck, in all the pictures Justin was looking up.  I could not get him to look at me.  The pumpkin patch had ghosts and zombies hanging from the ceiling.  He was so concerned ( I think maybe scared) that he would not keep his eyes off the creatures!!

Robby's 1st Car!!!

We went round and round trying to decide what car Robby should have for his 1st car.  It took us forever to decide.  We finally made a decision and we ended up giving him Bob's truck.  It makes me super nervous every time he goes somewhere, but he is so excited to be driving. I think he is really happy having such a cool truck.

Cruise

We love cruising!!!  Ever since we went on our first cruise we have been cruising at least once a year.  We love it so much that Justin is only 1 year old and has already been on 3 cruises.  This summer we went on the Mariner of the Seas Royal Caribbean to the Mexican Rivera which takes you from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.  We actually went because it was Robby's 16 birthday in July and we gave him the option to have an awesome party at home or go on a cruise.  He gave all of us a gift and choose the cruise.  We let him bring a friend with him and he decided to bring his best friend Tyler.  Tyler had never been on a cruise and was soooo excited.  We kept telling him about all the food and activities there was to do.  We all had tons of fun.

Eating lunch in Cabo

Stone Beach in Mazatlan

On our way to Las Alimas Beach in Puerto Vallarta.
The only way to get there is by boat it took us about 45 minutes

Las Alimas Beach. We spent all day here just relaxing on the beach.
They have a little adventure park were you can rock climb, do rope bridges and zip line.
We did it all, it was so much fun!!!

One of the formal nights

Lobster night!!!

This was our stateroom attendant, she was great.
She loved Justin(I think he was a little nervous around her)

A long day of being a pirate!!

Robby's and Tyler's favorite part of the cruise.  They hung out with the Canadian Dance team all week.  I know there were lots of tears on the last day of the cruise and many memories!!!
Happy 16th Birthday Robby!!!  I know we had a great time.

Lake Trip

We finally made it to the lake this year. We have been gone so much this summer that we haven't had time to go. This was Justin's first time on our boat and lake. He loved it!!! We had tons of fun watching the kids water ski and tube. Robby also went on the knee board, it took him a little while to figure how to get on but after a while he was a pro.
It was a good day!

New York-Part 3

Central Park was beautiful.  It was nice to see this huge park in a city of buildings.  We decided to rent a horse drawn carriage to be able to see part of the park.  It was really relaxing!

The next couple of places we visited were my favorites.  First we had to find Serendipity and have some frozen hot chocolate.  It was kinda hidden and took us a little while to find it.  Once we got there they told us the wait to be seated was about an hour and  yes we did wait.  While we waited we went back to Dylan's Candy Bar we passed on the way to find Serendipity.  Dylan's was probably one of Victoria's favorite place to visit.  It is a 3 story store with candy everywhere all types of candy!!!
There were lots of people waiting!!
Dylan's Candy Bar
We all enjoyed our frozen hot chocolate.  It was really good!!! It was worth the wait.

The second to our last day in New York was the day I had been waiting for the whole time.  I know Victoria was just as excited.  We took the Path Train that took us under the river and through the woods to New Jersey.  It literally did take us under the river.  It was kinda spooky to think we were on a subway train in a tunnel under the river.  Jersey was a nice city I really liked it there especially because we found heaven on earth.  Yes a bakery!!!  Carlos' Bake Shop - The Cake Boss.  We had to stand in line outside to wait our turn to go in.  The bakery show room is pretty small it sure does look bigger on TV.  Once we made it in it was kinda overwhelming cause there were so many goodies.  I wanted one of everything.  But I kinda had in mind what I was going to get from watching the show.  It wasn't that easy everything looked so good!!!  Victoria wanted to meet Mary the Cake Boss sister and to her luck Mary was the only one from the family there that day. Tori got to talk to her but she was a little star struck and was super nervous, it was cute to watch Victoria get all tongue tied. We started to order what we wanted and I was afraid I was getting too much so I kept telling the girl who was helping us not to show Bob exactly what I was buying.  He didn't find out till the end when I had to pay he couldn't do anything about it then, he was a good sport.  Cannolis were to die for, the lobster tails melted in your mouth, the strawberry short cake didn't even make it out of Jersey we ate it across the street on a bench. Ok I'll stop there, I did get more than that though. Yummy!!!!!
Victoria talking to Mary

Down the street from our hotel room was a common area where we go and eat sometimes.  Robby loved getting breakfast from one of the cart vendors.  The breakfast sandwiches were delicious.

We found a really good pizza joint, Sacco's Pizza. Thanks to Robby's coach, who told us about it.  Bob and Robert were enjoying meatball subs with their pizza.  New York was a blast!!!!
